TurboLink is a new one-step antibody labeling kit, requiring just 30 seconds hands-on time. The antibody is covalently bonded to the label in a directional and controlled process at near-neutral pH. TurboLink is the fastest and easiest method available to directly label your primary antibody with your choice of enzyme or fluorescent dye.

Direct labeling of primary antibodies, offers significant benefits over secondary indirect detection. For instance, direct antibody labeling:

Circumvents problems of cross over and non-specific binding of secondary reagents.
Reduces the number of incubation and tedious wash steps.

Accessory Antibody Purification Systems

There are a significant number of antibodies available from commercial suppliers who may not provide the antibody in a favorable format or buffer formulation for antibody labeling. It can often be difficult to identify the best route to take to create an optimal buffer formulation for antibody labeling.

To overcome this problem, we have designed a range of accessory kits that can be used to separate antibodies from unfavorable starting points. These kits are extremely easy and convenient to use and are fully compatible with the TurboLink range. By combining an accessory kit with a TurboLink product, a user is able to label an antibody regardless of the antibody starting formulation.

TurboPure™ Rapid Antibody Purification Kit (GTX44708)
It easily removes unwanted substances such as proteins, preservatives, amino acids, and other components that can interfere with labeling reactions. It can either be used to purify antibodies from crude samples - (ascites fluid or serum) or poor buffer formulations (buffers containing high concentrations of BSA, azide or Tris). The antibody to be purified or cleaned up ideally is up to 0.5mg and in a volume of 100-500 µL.

TurboPure Rapid Antibody Purification Kit for Serum (GTX44702)
It is a fast and simple method to purify antibodies from ascites fluid or animal serum and can be used to purify up to 20mg of antibody.

TurboPure Rapid Antibody Purification Kit for TC Supernatant (GTX44704)
Antibodies are often generated from hybridoma cell lines and supplied in tissue culture supernatant (TCS). The TurboPure TCS system is a fast and simple method to purify antibodies from 10-50 mL of TC Supernatant.

TurboPure Antibody Concentration and Cleanup Kit (GTX44706)
It allows for the quick and easy concentration of antibodies. The kit can also be used to reduce the concentration of any undesirable low molecular weight additives. The antibody clean up kit method utilizes a simple spin column to easily and quickly remove excess buffer from the antibody thereby providing a more concentrated antibodysolution.

Diphtheria toxin [7811] antibody

Corynebacterium diphtheriae infects the nasopharynx or skin, multiplying and secreting diphtheria toxin in nasopharyngeal or skin lesions. The diphtheria toxin is exceptionally potent with as little as 100-150 ng/kg of body weight being a lethal dose in susceptible individuals. Diphtheria toxin expression is under the control of an iron-activated repressor, DtxR. The dissociation of iron and DtxR under low iron conditions activates the tox gene, leading to its synthesis and secretion.

New Products

To meet the growing demands of scientific research, GeneTex has manufactured and launched ~ new antibodies. Though we cannot list all of their new products, we would like to highlight some exciting new additions. We introduce their new antibodies for ADAM and ADAMTS. A Disintegrin And Metalloproteinases (ADAM) and ADAM with Thrombospondin motifs (ADAMTS) are proteinases structurally related to Matrix Metalloproteinases (MMPs). ADAM proteinases are membrane-anchored proteins that are structurally related to snake venom disintegrins and play an important role in a variety of biological processes involving cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions. ADAMTSes are secreted proteases characterized by thrombospondin (TS) motifs in the C-terminal domain. ADAMs and ADAMTSes have been implicated in the cellular processes related to cancer progression, including the regulation of apoptosis, proliferation and angiogenesis. Members of the ADAM family of proteases are molecular "scissors" that are implicated in cell surface shedding processes and associated signaling pathways.
