Bio-Connect is a young and dynamic company specialized in the import and distribution of life sciences reagents into The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. We form the distribution chain between foreign manufacturers active in this market and the life sciences researchers in the Benelux countries.
Bio-Connect was founded on December 15, 2004 by Mr. P. Wingens, who has several years of experience in the supply chain management within the life sciences research field. From the start Mr. P. Wingens and his team have successfully grown the company. At present Bio-Connect fulfills a position as a preferred supplier to the academic and industrial marketplace. Bio-Connect has an extensive line of biomedical products to fulfill our customers’ needs and employs a team of highly skilled and experienced personnel to actively assist the life sciences researcher.
Mission Statement
We want to express this active role in our mission: “Supporting Life Sciences”.
In other words: “Bio-Connect wants to be the first thought that comes to the mind of the life sciences researcher in need of a valuable partner to support his research; a knowledge organization that can offer the researcher technologically high-value, user-friendly and innovative products and also support him with advanced theoretical knowledge and practical expertise of life sciences research“.
Market
Our customers are situated primarily in the life sciences research departments and medical research departments within universities, (academic) hospitals, pharmaceutical and biotech industry, as well as semi-government research institutes in the Benelux countries. Bio-Connect wants to aid the researcher first, by composing a high quality product portfolio, with innovative products that satisfy the customers’ demands. And second, by shaping an organization that focuses entirely on the customers and their individual needs. Bio-Connect has evolved into a knowledge organization that can support the customer with theoretical and practical information on life sciences research and has built a position as a valued partner in fundamental and more applied research.

Bio-Connect offers an extensive range of research and diagnostic products to be applied in the field of immunology, pathology, molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, neuroscience, microbiology, genetics, drug discovery and clinical chemistry. Many of our suppliers maintain a constant flow of new and innovative products that we offer to the research community. We offer a wealth of experience in customer support on technical issues as well as handling and shipping issues. Besides our regular suppliers we have access to a vast network of life science reagents suppliers throughout the world. We aim to accommodate in all our customers’ product needs.
