FUT4transfers fucose to N-acetyllactosamine polysaccharides to generate fucosylated carbohydratestructures. FUT4 may catalyze alpha-1,3 glycosidic linkages involved in the expression of LewisX/SSEA-1 and VIM-2 antigens.
