Rabbit polyclonal antibody to osteocalcin also known as BGLAP whose expression can be detected in the osteoblast but it is highly expressive in the neutrophil granulocyte. It is found in the extracellular matrix. This protein constitutes 1-2% of the total bone. It can also bind strongly to apatite and calcium. Osteocalcin extensively helps in hydroxyapatite binding and structural constituent of bone.
