Rabbit polyclonal antibody to SLC22A3 and is also known as EMT and Organic cation transporter 3 whose expression can be detected in the umbilical cord and fetal lung but it is highly expressive in the adrenal gland and cortex. It is found in the membrane. This protein mediates potential-dependent transport of a variety of organic cations and is significantly involved in the disposition of cationic neurotoxins and neurotransmitters in the brain. It also helps in maintaining dopamine transport and histamine uptake.
