Precipitating polyclonal rabbit antiserum to horse immunoglobulins, heavy and light chains. In immunoelectrophoresis and single and double radial immunodiffusion (Mancini, Ouchterlony) to identify and measure immunoglobulins; as secondary antibody to precipitate the immunoglobulin in normal horse serum.

Purified normal Ig fractions isolated from pooled horse serum. Freunds complete adjuvant is used in the first step of the immunization procedure.
