Rabbit polyclonal antibody to Tubulin beta3 also known as TUBB3 whose expression can be detected in the peripheral nervous system but is highly expressive in most cancerous tissues. TUBB3 plays a critical role in proper axon guidance and maintenance. It is found in the microtubule cytoskeleton. Tubulin is the major constituent of microtubules. It binds two moles of GTP one at an exchangeable site on the beta chain and one at a non-exchangeable site on the alpha chain.
