Rabbit polyclonal antibody to Utrophin, which is also known as DRP-1 and DMDL. Utrophin is frequently found in the nucleoplasm and is expressed in the autopod of the limbs and retina in the eyes. It is overexpressed in the peripheral blood mononuclear cells and uterus. It may play an extensive role in anchoring the cytoskeleton to the plasma membrane. This protein is also expressed in sensory ganglia and brain at the synapse and myotendinous junction associating with the dystroglycan complex and involved in association with rapsyn in the clustering of acetylcholine receptors.
