Rabbit polyclonal antibody to VHL also known as protein G7 whose expression can be detected in adult and fetal brain and kidney but is highly expressive in renal tubules and testis. It is found in the peripheral membrane protein. This protein acts as a target recruitment subunit in the E3 ubiquitin ligase complex and recruits hydroxylated hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF) under normoxic conditions and is involved in transcriptional repression through interaction with HIF1A, HIF1AN and histone deacetylases while it ubiquitinates in an oxygen-responsive manner ADRB2.
