    The recombinant mouse CNTN1 comprises 991 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 110.5 kDa. The apparent molecular mass of the protein is approximately 110-120 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions due to glycosylation. A DNA sequence encoding the mouse CNTN1 (NP_031753.1) (Met1-Leu1000) was expressed with a C-terminal polyhistidine tag.
