Rabbit polyclonal antibody to COQ9. The protein is 1 of several enzymes involved in biosynthesis of CoQ10 and likely functions in modification of the benzoquinone ring. COQ1 localizes to the mitochondrion and is involved in the synthesis of coenzyme Q. Mutations in this gene is associated with autosomal-recessive neonatal-onset primary coenzyme Q10 deficiency.
