Rabbit polyclonal antibody to SP17. The protein helps to bind spermatozoa to the zona pellucida with high affinity, and is a sperm surface zona pellucida binding protein. Moreover, it is also involved in additional cell-cell adhesion functions such as immune cell migration and metastasis, and is involved in fertilization by binding to the zona pellucida of the oocyte.
