Scientific Description
The recombinant rat PGC comprises 387 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 42.5 kDa. The apparent molecular mass of the ratPGC is approximately 43 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. A DNA sequence encoding the rat PGC (NP_579818.1) (Met 1-Val 392) was expressed, fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
