Scientific Description
The recombinant rat REG3A comprises 160 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 17.9 kDa. The apparent molecular mass of the recombinant protein is approximately 17 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions due to glycosylation. A DNA sequence encoding the rat REG3A (BAA04904.1) (Met1-Gln174) was expressed, fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
