Bio-Connect has successfully completed its interim ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 audit by TÜV Nord, reaffirming our commitment to quality, sustainability and reliable life science and diagnostic distribution in the Benelux.
On January 19 and 20, TÜV Nord visited our headquarters in Huissen to assess our integrated management system. Two intensive days of interviews, process checks and sample audits later, we received the confirmation we had hoped for: Bio-Connect once again complies with the internationally recognised ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. For us, this is more than a certificate on the wall. It is a recognition of the daily effort of our team and the trust that life science and diagnostics customers across the Benelux place in us.
For researchers, lab managers and buyers in the Benelux, reliability is crucial. Experiments cannot wait, patient diagnostics must continue and supply chains need to be predictable. Our ISO 9001:2015 certification underlines that our quality management system supports exactly that: consistent, traceable and efficient distribution of life science and diagnostic reagents. At the same time, ISO 14001:2015 shows that we take responsibility for how we operate, from our energy use to our logistics and packaging choices, and that we actively work to reduce our environmental impact.

From Huissen, we work on reducing our energy consumption, choosing greener solutions where possible, optimising shipments and cold chain logistics and reusing or reducing packaging materials. These are practical steps, but together they make a difference, and they align with the ambitions of many of our customers, who are also looking to make their labs and organisations more sustainable.
Ultimately, this interim ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 audit is a team success. It confirms that the choices we make, in how we organise our logistics, how we document processes, how we handle complaints and how we cooperate internally, are leading us in the right direction. For our customers in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, it is an extra assurance that behind every delivery, every quotation and every technical advice there is a well-structured system and a motivated team.
