MolBoolean: Beyond Proximity Ligation
MolBoolean™ is a novel in situ proximity technology developed by Atlas Antibodies that enables the simultaneous detection of both free and interacting fractions for two protein targets.
Bio-Connect’s recent training session with Atlas Antibodies focused on new validation techniques and tools, like the MolBoolean kit, aiming to support ongoing scientific research.
Bio-Connect recently had the pleasure of hosting an in-person training session led by Renato Alves, the Channel Manager at Atlas Antibodies. This engaging session provided our team with valuable insights into Atlas Antibodies’ latest products and advancements, particularly focusing on new validation techniques in ChIP and Exo-Seq, as well as the innovative MolBoolean kit.
Renato introduced us to the cutting-edge validation techniques that Atlas Antibodies is implementing in ChIP (Chromatin Immunoprecipitation) and Exo-Seq. These advancements promise to deliver unparalleled precision in protein-DNA interaction studies, offering researchers deeper insights into epigenetic mechanisms and transcriptional regulation. The new validation methods ensure that researchers can achieve base-pair resolution, significantly improving the accuracy and reliability of their experiments.
One of the highlights of the training was the introduction to the MolBoolean kit. This innovative tool is designed to extend, deepen, and accelerate research on protein-protein interactions. By utilizing antibody-DNA conjugates for identification and signal amplification, the MolBoolean kit allows researchers to detect interactions between endogenous proteins in various subcellular compartments. This capability is crucial for understanding cellular signaling, characterizing mutation effects, and exploring protein functions in health and disease.
Atlas Antibodies is renowned for its rigorous validation process, ensuring that each antibody meets the highest standards of specificity and performance. Every antibody undergoes thorough validation across multiple platforms, including Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), and Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP). This comprehensive validation guarantees that researchers can rely on Atlas Antibodies for reproducible and accurate results in their studies.
In addition to their stringent validation processes, Atlas Antibodies offers unique antigens for all their antibodies, providing comprehensive coverage of the entire human proteome. This extensive range ensures that researchers have access to high-quality antibodies targeting nearly every human protein, facilitating a wide array of research applications and enabling groundbreaking discoveries in human biology.
The training session not only enhanced our understanding of Atlas Antibodies’ offerings but also reinforced the importance of collaboration in advancing scientific research. With these new tools and techniques, Bio-Connect is better equipped to support researchers in their quest for scientific breakthroughs.
We are excited to integrate these advancements into our portfolio and look forward to seeing the impact they will have on the research community. Our partnership with Atlas Antibodies continues to thrive, and we are committed to providing our customers with the best tools and support for their research needs.
