From 18–20 March 2026, Radboudumc in Nijmegen hosts the 13th International Workshop on Cancer Genetic & Cytogenetic Diagnostics. Bio-Connect will be present at this workshop together with our supplier Invivoscribe.
This three-day course focuses on all aspects of cancer (cyto)genetics in a diagnostic setting, covering basic technical principles and methods such as conventional karyotyping, FISH, microarray genomic profiling, qPCR, gene sequencing and newer technologies including Optical Genome Mapping and Whole Genome Sequencing.
Alongside these methodological overviews, the program includes sessions on ISCN nomenclature and genetic aberrations in different types of leukemia. Participants attending on site can also join a panel discussion and an interactive session on the interpretation and reporting of patient cases, making the workshop especially valuable for anyone working in cancer (cyto)genetic diagnostics.
