Measure ghrelin plasma levels with Bertin Bioreagent

Breakfast consumption is often associated with positive effects on weight management, but little is known about the effects of breakfast on metabolic responses in individuals with obesity.

A previous study observed that there were no causal effects of breakfast consumption on acute hormonal/metabolic responses in lean individuals, however individuals with obesity have been shown to have different responses such as delayed satiation and limited ghrelin suppression.

In this application note, discover how the Acylated Ghrelin human Easy Sampling ELISA kit from Bertin Bioreagent was used for accurate measurements of acylated ghrelin levels in blood samples.
