New solution for 1-step RT-qPCR assays from Solis BioDyne
It’s incredible how much can fit in a single tube! Solis BioDyne’s new SOLIScript® Fast 1-Step RT-qPCR Mix with UNG contains all components necessary to perform cDNA synthesis and qPCR with up to 5 targets within 1h.
Not only does this new product allow one to get fast results in the easiest way possible, it also effectively prevents carryover contamination. This means there is no need to worry about the potential risks of re-amplifying the wrong templates or producing false positive results.
What’s special about SOLIScript® Fast 1-Step RT-qPCR Mix with UNG?
As mentioned before, this mix comes in one tube that includes all the components necessary to amplify RNA and DNA targets. The high multiplexing capability enables you to increase throughput by amplifying up to 5 targets from one reaction. You only need to add your template and primers. This means having to spend less time on pipetting and mixing solutions. It also makes it easier to avoid errors and contamination, since there is less handling involved.
Also, not only is it possible to save time on reaction setup, but the reaction itself due to the specially designed HOT SolisFAST® DNA Polymerase that has increased tolerance to inhibitory substances and approximately 2-4 times faster extension rates compared to the wild-type Taq DNA polymerase. Confirmed tolerance to common PCR inhibitors allows the implementation of simpler sample preparation and purification methods while not having to worry about impaired reaction efficiencies due to inhibiting agents.
In addition, Solis BioDyne’s unique Stability TAG technology makes this product stable for 1 month at room temperature. This enables shipping in a simple envelope, giving you the possibility to make environmentally friendly decisions by avoiding dry ice shipment.
